Meadow Fair Library is constantly adding to its collection with new titles in Fiction, Non-Fiction and Graphic Novels, which is a huge hit with the Meadow Fair Campus Boys. At Meadow Fair Campus we have a good collection of Fiction Books. We make sure that we get the new release Children’s Fiction titles. Students often have their own book suggestions placed in our Book Suggestions box and we try and get those for them.

Some of the new titles we have on our shelves are…The boy who hit play by Chloe Daykin whose first novel Fish Boy was a hit. Beetle Boy by M.G. Leonard. Children’s Book Council of Australia Shortlisted book…The Grand Genius Summer of Henry Hoobler by Lisa Shanahan. Fearless Frederic by Felice Arena.

We have fiction books on the Marvel and DC Comics. Titles such as Black Panther, The Young Prince by Ronald L. Smith.

Non-Fiction books have come a long way from when I was at school. These days they are not only very informative and up with the latest they are very graphic, amazing photos, close up images and the information is easy to understand.

Some of the amazing new Non-Fiction titles we have on our shelves are; Robot, Children’s Illustrated Encyclopedia, 101 Optical Illusions, Mathematics an illustrated History of Numbers, Operation Ouch! The HuManual, Super Bug, Medicine, Science the definitive visual guide, Knowledge Encyclopedia Animal and many other titles.

Sports is always popular with students at Meadow Fair Campus. In particular Soccer. We have many books on soccer and soccer players. Messi, Neymar, Pogba and Ronaldo. Our Library collection on sports covers Basketball, AFL Football, Tennis, and Martial Arts… just to name a few.

Graphic Novels are very popular with Boys at Meadow Fair. Students will often come to me with Graphic Novel recommendations. Some of the Graphic Novel titles are adaptations of popular classics. Such as To Kill a Mockingbird, The Little Prince, A Tale of Two Cities,The Adventures of Robinhood, The Adventures of King Arthur, The Hound of the Baskervilles… and many other favourite titles such as Alex Rider series, and the Cherub series written by Robert Muchamore.
